Green Belt
According to statistics, a green belt earns a 23% higher salary than the average national job postings, and devotes 25-50% of their time doing Six Sigma projects. The requirements to meet this level are 8 weeks of online training and 8 online exams with a score of at least 70%. In addition, the green belt will have to focus on basic improvement projects.

Black Belt
According to studies, black belts earn a 41% higher salary than the average national job postings, and they devote 100% of their time to Six Sigma practices. The requirements a black belt must meet are 16 weeks of online training, 8 online exams with a score of at least 70%, and the completion of a black belt level project. The overall focus of a black belt is to have high project execution skills.

Master Black Belt
The master black belt works to train and mentor black and green belts and work out troubles in black belt development. The qualifications to meet this level are the completion of a black belt program with at least 70% and a submission of an in-class master black belt project. The master black belt’s goal is to ensure that black belt projects are making progress. He/She will coach using the six sigma methods in order to keep business proposals on track.
