The best times to post on
Twitter
The optimal time for a
posting on Twitter is Monday through Thursday 1pm to 3pm. Tweets after 8pm are generally not
recommended and even after 3pm on a Friday sees a far lower interest in tweets. Tweets on weekends are also comparatively
unheeded/unnoticed. You will notice that
theses times are mainly times when people may be bored, i.e. at work or
school/college. This is probably the
reason why people read less tweets on Fridays and the weekend, because they
have something more fun to do. Monday to
Thursday 9am to 3pm is the most active time, and even though, posting during
this time period will increase your average number of clicks, it does not
guarantee optimal attention. This is
simply because then there is greater competition with other tweets. Between 1pm and 3pm has the biggest lull in
Tweet writing where Tweet reading remains high.
